We were there again for the monastery festival on May 7th, 2022.
They can organize. Everyone gets their designated parking space, including those for severely disabled people, right near the entrance. Dogs are of course also very welcome and do not charge entry like they do in the zoo.
The monastery continues to develop every year. There were a lot of jugglers and stalls set up for the festival. You can eat great food Medieval and good. But it's getting more and more expensive. Game skewers 4 pieces of meat = €7. Entry to the spectacle has remained and costs 5 thalers. There is also an oil mill on site where you can look at or buy.
The Christmas market was very small... And I thought it was very cheeky to charge an entrance fee. The prices were extremely high... I won't go there again... Disappointing
Bad service, bad food!
The food seemed to us as if it had come from Aldi from the freezer and then been prepared with the help of the fryer. So not tasty but expensive! We won't eat there again!
The small Christmas market was very well organized. Kudos to the volunteer fire department. They had the parking situation well under control.
